About the data

Using global bias-corrected satellite columns of HCHO retrieved from the OMI sensor (De Smedt et al. 2018) over 2005-2017 as constraints in the MAGRITTEv1.1 chemistry-transport model (Müller et al. 2019), we derive satellite-based estimates of isoprene on a monthly basis (Müller et al. 2024).

Both the top-down emissions and the a priori emissions (from MEGAN) are here available in NetCDF format in 2°x2.5° monthly resolution:
